Description Technical Specs

Kenyan coffee is one of the most sought after coffees in the world. The acidic soils in the highlands of central Kenya, combined with the right amount of sunlight and rainfall, provide excellent conditions for growing coffee. The Kenyan method of processing is meticulous and renowned for it’s double washing and double fermentation procedures, which also factor into the famous Kenyan flavor profile. Despite its proximity to Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, it wasn’t until the late 19th century that coffee was cultivated in Kenya.

Great Kenyans are known for their complex fruit, citrus flavors, and bright acidity, which excites the entire palate. Twiga lives up to the reputation of great Kenyan coffee. It’s savory and citric notes, clarity, and very bright acidity are sure to provide a very enjoyable cup of coffee for those who enjoy clarity and an acidic profile.
